SAYAARA Box Office: A Three-Week Worldwide Blockbuster Run
The film SAYAARA has completed three weeks in cinemas, achieving a record-breaking worldwide collection. Its box office performance was fully blockbusting in the first week. The second week saw continued excellent earnings due to a lack of competition. Despite two new Bollywood releases and competition from Mahavatar Narasimha in its third week, SAYAARA maintained strong collections.
SAYAARA earned ₹3 crore 35 lakh on its 20th day at the Indian box office. On its 21st day, the film is projected to collect ₹2 crore 10 lakh in India net collection. This brings SAYAARA’s total India net collection for 21 days to ₹315 crore 20 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹382 crore 96 lakh. Overseas, SAYAARA has garnered an impressive ₹134 crore 50 lakh. Cumulatively, SAYAARA’s worldwide box office collection for 21 days stands at ₹517 crore 46 lakh. With a budget of ₹60 crore, the film has earned over ₹517 crore worldwide, cementing its status as an All-Time Blockbuster.
MAHAVATAR NARASIMHA Box Office: Surpassing Expectations
The pan-India film Mahavatar Narasimha has completed two weeks in cinemas, with its collection significantly exceeding expectations. Despite a slow start at the box office upon release, the film’s earnings have grown to more than five times its budget. It is anticipated that Mahavatar Narasimha will cross the ₹200 crore mark at the box office.
In its initial 12 days, Mahavatar Narasimha achieved an India net collection of ₹106 crore 80 lakh. On its 13th day, the film recorded an All-Indian market collection of ₹7 crore 15 lakh. For its 14th day, Mahavatar Narasimha is estimated to collect approximately ₹5.5 crore in India net collection, despite a drop in morning show occupancy and lower bookings for afternoon, evening, and night shows compared to the previous day. This brings the film’s total All-India net collection for 14 days (two weeks) to ₹119 crore 45 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹143 crore 34 lakh. Released overseas last week, the film has collected ₹6 crore 83 lakh in the overseas market within just seven days. Mahavatar Narasimha’s worldwide collection for the first 14 days totals ₹150 crore 17 lakh. With a budget of ₹30 crore, the film has surpassed ₹150 crore worldwide, proving to be a major blockbuster at the box office.
SON OF SARDAR 2 Box Office: Lower Than Anticipated Earnings
Ajay Devgn’s film, SON OF SARDAR 2, has completed one week (7 days) in cinemas, but its box office collection has been considerably lower than expected. Initially, it was anticipated to be one of the year’s biggest blockbusters with a projected lifetime collection of ₹150 crore.
SON OF SARDAR 2 accumulated an India net collection of ₹30 crore 52 lakh in its first 5 days. On its 6th day, the film earned ₹2 crore 25 lakh at the Indian box office. For its 7th day, with significantly reduced occupancy compared to the previous day, the film is collecting only ₹1 crore 85 lakh in India net collection. This brings SON OF SARDAR 2’s total All-India net collection for the first seven days (first week) to ₹34 crore 63 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹41 crore 55 lakh. The film’s seven-day worldwide box office collection is ₹49 crore 78 lakh. Its first-week worldwide earnings of approximately ₹50 crore are considered quite low when compared to the film’s budget and Ajay Devgn’s stardom.
