Tumbbad Box Office Triumph
The horror film Tumbbad, featuring Sohum Shah, was re-released with a budget of ₹15 crore. After 11 days in cinemas, the film’s 11-day collection surpassed its budget. Tumbbad has also earned more in its current run than it did six years ago upon its initial release.
Tumbbad’s India net collection for the first nine days reached ₹21 crore 98 lakh. On its 10th day, the film collected more than ₹1 crore. Its 11th day, a Monday, saw a collection of ₹1 crore 20 lakh due to a drop in occupancy. The total India net collection for Tumbbad over 11 days stands at ₹23 crore 21 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹27 crore 62 lakh. Including its previous collection, the film’s total earnings have reached ₹42 crore 97 lakh, making it a Super Duper Hit.
Yodha Box Office Performance Update
The action-packed film Yodha, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Raghav Juyal, was made with a budget of ₹30 crore and has completed four days in cinemas. The film experienced a bumper opening on its first day at the box office. However, collections saw a significant drop on the second day. Earnings increased again on the third day, a Sunday, before dropping considerably on the fourth day, a Monday.
Yodha collected ₹4 crore 52 lakh on its first day, followed by ₹1 crore 75 lakh on the second day, and ₹3 crore 35 lakh on the third day. The film is estimated to have earned approximately ₹1 crore 50 lakh on its fourth day. This brings Yodha’s total India net collection for the initial four days to ₹10 crore 12 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹12 crore 4 lakh.
Devara Advance Booking Report
The Pan India film Devara, featuring Junior NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, is set to release on September 27 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. The film performed well in its first two weeks. In the third week, new film releases led to a reduction in its screens across all languages, yet it still performed notably.
