Thangala’s 13-Day Worldwide Box Office Collection
The South Indian film Thangala, released on August 15th in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, has completed 13 days at the box office. Its Hindi release is scheduled for August 30th. The film, produced with a budget of ₹110 crore, has garnered a decent collection so far.
Thangala achieved an India Net Collection of ₹50 crore 1 lakh within its initial 11 days. On its 12th day, the film added ₹1 crore 71 lakh to its earnings. The 13th day saw an estimated collection of approximately ₹1 crore 50 lakh, with occupancy slightly lower compared to the previous day. This brings Thangala’s cumulative 13-day India Net Collection to ₹53 crore 22 lakh. The India Gross Collection stands at ₹63 crore 53 lakh.
From the overseas market, the film has collected ₹18 crore 22 lakh. Combining these figures, Thangala’s worldwide box office collection for its first 13 days has reached ₹81 crore 75 lakh, successfully surpassing the ₹80 crore mark. If the film receives a decent response in the Hindi market, it is anticipated to potentially cross the ₹100 crore mark at the box office.
Vedaa Box Office: 13-Day Collection and Performance
Bollywood’s action-drama film Vedaa, also released on August 15th, was made with an approximate budget of ₹55 crore. Having completed 13 days in theaters, the movie is reported to have almost entirely “broken down” at the box office.
Vedaa experienced a good opening, but its subsequent daily collections consistently declined. The film showed no significant growth during its second weekend, nor did it receive a major boost on Janmashtami. Its 13-day worldwide box office collection has not yet equaled its budget.
The film’s India Net Collection for the first 11 days amounted to ₹22 crore 3 lakh. On its 12th day, coinciding with Janmashtami, Vedaa collected ₹1 crore 4 lakh. For the 13th day, occupancy was noted to be 20 to 35 percent lower than the 12th day, resulting in an estimated earning of approximately ₹60 lakh in the Indian market.
The total India Net Collection for Vedaa over its first 13 days is ₹23 crore 87 lakh, with an India Gross Collection of ₹28 crore 34 lakh. The film has only managed to collect ₹4 crore 68 lakh from the overseas market. In its initial 13 days, Vedaa’s worldwide box office collection has crossed the ₹33 crore mark. With a budget of ₹55 crore, the film has earned ₹33 crore worldwide.
Khel Khel Mein Box Office Report: 13-Day Earnings
The comedy-drama film Khel Khel Mein had a budget of ₹120 crore. Despite receiving positive reviews, the film’s collections did not meet the expected trajectory. A key factor impacting its performance was the reduction in screens from the first week, attributed to the strong performance of Stree 2.
While the film did experience some growth during its second weekend, this was limited by fewer available shows and screens. The current collection trend suggests that the film’s final box office collection will likely not exceed ₹50 crore.
Khel Khel Mein recorded an India Net Collection of ₹25 crore 74 lakh in its first 11 days. On the 12th day, Janmashtami, the film collected ₹1 crore 63 lakh. Due to it being a working day, a significant drop in collections was observed on the 13th day, with estimated earnings of approximately ₹1 crore 10 lakh.
The cumulative 13-day India Net Collection for Khel Khel Mein stands at ₹28 crore 37 lakh, and its India Gross Collection is ₹33 crore 76 lakh. The film has accumulated a total of ₹9 crore 55 lakh from the overseas market. This brings Khel Khel Mein’s worldwide box office collection after 13 days to ₹43 crore 31 lakh. Given its ₹120 crore budget, the film is categorized as a super flop at the box office, even if it were to surpass the ₹50 crore or ₹55 crore mark.
Stree 2 Box Office Dominance: 13-Day Record-Breaking Worldwide Collections
The horror-comedy film Stree 2, produced with an approximate budget of ₹80 crore, has broken all box office records for the year, emerging as Bollywood’s highest-grossing film. The film’s collections continue to be explosive, indicating a strong potential to easily surpass the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. If the film maintains a strong response in its second week, its final collection might even exceed that of Jawan, which was Bollywood’s highest-grossing film in the Hindi market.
Stree 2’s India Net Collection for its first 11 days reached an impressive ₹401 crore 65 lakh. The worldwide box office collection for the film after 11 days was ₹560 crore.
On the 12th day, Janmashtami, while morning and afternoon shows garnered a good response, evening and night shows saw a significant drop due to puja. This resulted in a worldwide collection of ₹28 crore 50 lakh for that day.
For the 13th day, occupancy was even lower compared to the 12th day, with morning shows experiencing a 10 to 12 percent drop. Based on current reports, Stree 2’s estimated worldwide collection for its 13th day is approximately ₹25 crore 50 lakh. The cumulative worldwide box office collection for Stree 2 in its first 13 days has reached an outstanding ₹614 crore. Had the Janmashtami collection been stronger, the film might have surpassed the ₹650 crore mark by its 13th day.
Stree 2 is expected to maintain its strong box office hold until the release of Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency and Thalapathy Vijay’s G.O.A.T.
