Stree 2 Box Office: A Historic Blockbuster Performance
Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 has broken the records of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Jawan, Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, and Prabhas’s Baahubali 2 at the box office, becoming a historical blockbuster of Indian cinema. The film’s earnings have exceeded its budget by more than 10 times. Its box office performance has surpassed everyone’s expectations, with the film earning more in its first week than many anticipated for its final collection. On its 11th day, which was the Second Sunday, Stree 2 achieved an India net collection of ₹45.80 crore, breaking records of major Indian cinema films. This made it the highest-earning film on a Second Sunday in India, surpassing Gadar 2, which previously held that record. Stree 2 broke the Second Sunday records not just of Gadar 2, but also Baahubali 2, Jawan, Animal, Dangal, Sanju, and Pathaan. The previous order of highest second-week earners was Gadar 2, followed by Baahubali 2, Jawan, Animal, Dangal, Sanju, and then Pathaan.
On its 12th day, Stree 2 is estimated to be earning an India net collection of ₹35 crore. With this, the film’s All India net collection for the first 12 days has reached ₹441.07 crore. The film’s total worldwide box office collection for 12 days is ₹609.10 crore, meaning Stree 2 has earned over ₹600 crore worldwide in 12 days.
