Fighter, Lal Salaam, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya Box Office Collection Day Update: Hrithik & Shahid's Performance

“Fighter” Continues Strong Box Office Run on Day 16

Superstar Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor’s action-drama film, “Fighter,” has completed 16 days at the box office. The film, directed by Siddharth Anand, has crossed two weeks in cinemas and is now in its third week. For its first two weeks, “Fighter” ran without competition, but in its third week, screen count has significantly reduced due to new releases. Despite fewer screens, the film is maintaining decent collections.

“Fighter,” made on a budget of ₹250 crore, achieved an India Net Collection of ₹152 crore 84 lakh in its first eight days (first week). In its second week, the film added an India Net Collection of ₹39 crore 52 lakh. On its 16th day, “Fighter” recorded an India Net Collection of ₹2 crore 10 lakh. This brings the total India Net Collection for the first 16 days to ₹194 crore 50 lakh, with an India Gross Collection of ₹231 crore 50 lakh. From the overseas market, the film has earned ₹97 crore 50 lakh. The worldwide box office collection for “Fighter” in 16 days stands at a remarkable ₹329 crore. Further growth in collections is anticipated over the upcoming weekend.

“Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” Opens Strong Globally

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s romantic film, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,” has taken a good opening on its first day. The film was released on 3500 screens worldwide. With a budget of ₹75 crore, the makers had already recovered ₹68 crore before its release through digital rights (₹36 crore), satellite rights (₹22 crore), and music rights (₹10 crore).

On its opening day, the film saw an occupancy of 15% to 18% in morning shows, with strong advance bookings for afternoon, evening, and night shows. “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” collected an India Net Collection of ₹7 crore on its first day, with an India Gross Collection of ₹8 crore 30 lakh. The overseas market contributed over ₹3 crore on the first day. This resulted in a first-day worldwide box office collection of ₹11 crore 50 lakh. The film is expected to see growth in its collections on the second and third days.

“Eagle” Debuts with Decent Numbers

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s film, “Eagle,” also had its first day at the box office. Released in Telugu and Hindi, the film received very limited screens and no promotion in the Hindi market, leading to a zero opening there. However, the Telugu version garnered decent collections. “Eagle” was made on a budget of ₹80 crore, and its makers had recovered more than ₹70 crore prior to release. Digital rights for all five languages sold for ₹45 crore, satellite rights for ₹25 crore, and music rights for ₹3 crore, totaling ₹73 crore in recovery.

Due to the release of two to three other new Telugu films simultaneously, “Eagle” received fewer screens, resulting in a decent first-day collection. The film’s first-day All India Net Collection is ₹6 crore, with an India Gross Collection of ₹7 crore 20 lakh. The worldwide collection for “Eagle” on its first day is approximately ₹10 crore. If the film resonates well with the audience, a significant jump in collections could be observed in the coming days.

“Lal Salaam” Achieves Decent First-Day Worldwide Collection

Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s directorial, “Lal Salaam,” starring Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth with a significant cameo by Superstar Rajinikanth, opened with a good collection on its first day. The film was released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, though Hindi screens were limited to barely 100-150. Rajinikanth’s presence, despite being a cameo, generated considerable hype, particularly in the Tamil version.

The total budget for “Lal Salaam” is ₹90 crore, including a production cost of ₹50 crore and Rajinikanth’s fee of ₹40 crore for his cameo. The film’s makers recovered ₹61 crore before release through digital rights (all languages) at ₹37 crore, satellite rights at ₹19 crore, and music rights at ₹5 crore. On its first day, “Lal Salaam” experienced good occupancy in Tamil Nadu. In Telugu states, despite having decent screens, the occupancy was not as high as in Tamil Nadu.

The film’s first-day India Net Collection is ₹12 crore, with an India Gross Collection of ₹14 crore 50 lakh. From the overseas market, the film earned approximately ₹5.5 crore on its opening day. The first-day worldwide box office collection for “Lal Salaam” is in the range of ₹20 crore, marking a decent opening for a film with a ₹90 crore budget. The film’s weekend performance is expected to show further growth in collections.
