Kantara Chapter One, an adventure drama thriller, is set for release on October 2. The film, originally Kannada, will be released in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. Advance bookings for Kantara Chapter One have commenced across all languages.

The first day India booking for all languages for Kantara Chapter One stands at ₹9 crore 22 lakh. The initial four-day weekend India booking has reached ₹13 crore 58 lakh. In the overseas market, the film’s weekend booking has accumulated ₹4 crore 73 lakh. This brings the total worldwide advance booking collection for Kantara Chapter One’s weekend to ₹18 crore 11 lakh.

Jolly LLB 3: 11-Day Box Office Performance

The Bollywood comedy-drama film Jolly LLB 3, released on September 19, recorded strong earnings in its first week. The film continued its good performance into the second weekend, benefiting from no new Bollywood releases. However, a cricket match between India and Pakistan caused a significant dent in the film’s Sunday collections.

Jolly LLB 3 garnered an India net collection of ₹84 crore 25 lakh in its initial 9 days. On its 10th day, the film earned ₹8 crore 10 lakh in India. Reports indicate that Jolly LLB 3 collected approximately ₹3 crore 25 lakh as India net collection on its 11th day. With these figures, the film’s initial 11-day India net collection totals ₹92 crore 60 lakh. The India gross collection for Jolly LLB 3 stands at ₹110 crore 19 lakh. The film’s worldwide box office collection up to 11 days has reached ₹137 crore 72 lakh.

OG (De Call Him OG) 5-Day Worldwide Collections

The action crime drama thriller film OG (De Call Him OG) achieved record-breaking worldwide earnings in its initial four-day weekend. However, on its fifth day, the film experienced a significant drop in collections. The film’s budget is ₹250 crore, and it has already surpassed its budget in worldwide earnings. OG was released in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film’s Hindi collections in the first weekend were around ₹5 crore, and it did not perform strongly in Tamil Nadu. The Telugu version, however, showed strong earnings in India and overseas markets.

OG’s India net collection for its initial three days was ₹131 crore 70 lakh. On its fourth day (Sunday), the film earned ₹24 crore 63 lakh across all languages in India, experiencing a dent due to the India-Pakistan cricket match. On its fifth day, OG is reported to have earned approximately ₹7 crore 50 lakh from all languages in India. This brings the film’s initial five-day all India net collection to ₹163 crore 83 lakh. The India gross collection for OG stands at ₹195 crore 11 lakh.

The total worldwide collection for OG (De Call Him OG) in its initial five days is ₹276 crore 57 lakh. To be considered a hit at the box office, the film needs to achieve a gross collection of at least ₹300 crore in the worldwide market, as its worldwide theatrical rights were sold for ₹170 crore. The film’s lifetime box office collection is not expected to reach ₹500 crore.
