OGI Box Office: Record-Breaking Collections Continue
Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi’s film OGI continues to break box office records daily. The film achieved the biggest opening of 2025 on its very first day. The current box office collection of this movie has significantly surpassed its budget.
OGI, an action crime drama thriller, was released in Telugu, Hindi, and several other South Indian languages. Despite limited promotion and screens for its Hindi version, the film delivered exceptional performance in its original Telugu language. Its first-day collection exceeded 154 crore, marking the biggest opening for any Indian film this year. While the film experienced a significant drop in collections on its second and third days, a strong rebound was observed on the fourth day, Sunday.
The film collected an India net of 110 crore 32 lakh in its initial two days. On its third day, Saturday, OGI earned 22 crore 47 lakh in India net collections, falling short of an anticipated 30 crore. However, on the fourth day, Sunday, the film is estimated to collect approximately 27 crore 50 lakh in India net collections. With these figures, the total All India Net Collection for OGI stands at 160 crore 29 lakh over four days, with an India Gross Collection of 190 crore 54 lakh. Globally, the film’s worldwide collection has reached 270 crore in its first four days. The film’s budget is 250 crore, indicating that its collections have already surpassed its budget within four days.
Mirai Box Office Performance: A Superhit Run
The action adventure fantasy thriller film Mirai, directed by Karthik, starring Teja Sajja, Ritika Nayak, and Jagapathi Babu, was released on September 12 and is currently in its third week in cinemas. The film performed well in its first week, followed by decent collections in the second week. Despite a reduction in screens during its third week due to the release of OGI, the film has maintained good collections during its third weekend.
Released in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, Mirai garnered an India net collection of 91 crore 10 lakh across all languages in its initial 15 days. On its third Saturday, the 16th day, the film added 1 crore 27 lakh to its India net collection. On the 17th day, Sunday, a slight growth in occupancy was noted, with the film earning approximately 1 crore 50 lakh in India. This brings Mirai’s total India net collection over 17 days to 93 crore 87 lakh, with an India gross collection of 111 crore 70 lakh. The film’s worldwide box office collection has reached 115 crore. With a budget of 60 crore, Mirai has proven to be a superhit movie at the box office.
Jolly LLB 3: Second Week Surge
Akshay Kumar’s comedy drama film Jolly LLB 3, directed by Subhash Kapoor, is currently in its second week in cinemas. The film has shown a significant acceleration in its earnings during this period. After decent collections in its first week, the film exceeded expectations on its second Saturday. Collections on the second Sunday were even more remarkable, with morning shows experiencing better occupancy and strong bookings for afternoon, evening, and night shows, benefiting from the Sunday holiday.
Jolly LLB 3 accumulated an India net collection of 77 crore 86 lakh in its first eight days. On its second Saturday, the ninth day, the film earned 5 crore 97 lakh at the Indian box office. Reports indicate that on its tenth day, Sunday, Jolly LLB 3 is collecting approximately 7 crore 25 lakh in India. Consequently, the film’s total India net collection over 10 days stands at 91 crore 8 lakh, with an India gross collection of 108 crore 38 lakh. The worldwide box office collection for Jolly LLB 3 has reached 135 crore 56 lakh in 10 days.
Kantara Chapter 1: Advance Booking Report
The adventure drama thriller Kantara Chapter 1, a prequel to Kantara, is set to release on October 2. Directed by Rishab Shetty and produced by Vijay Kirgandur, the film stars Rishab Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth. With only a few days left until its release, the film’s advance bookings have commenced well in India, receiving a strong response.
The first-day India advance booking collection for Kantara Chapter 1 across all languages has reached 7 crore 53 lakh. Given its Thursday release, the film will enjoy a four-day weekend, for which the India advance booking stands at 10 crore 87 lakh. Overseas, the film has garnered 3 crore 19 lakh in weekend advance bookings, indicating a less robust response from international markets.
