Superstar Rajinikanth’s film Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has entered its second week and continues to perform well at the box office. Made on a budget of ₹375 crore, the action-thriller was released across 7500 screens worldwide in four languages: Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. The film made a strong debut, collecting over ₹150 crore worldwide on its first day. Despite receiving mixed reviews, Coolie registered impressive first-weekend collections. Reports indicate that on its eighth day, the film is collecting ₹1 crore 80 lakh in Hindi. This brings Coolie‘s total eight-day Hindi net collection to ₹27 crore 32 lakh, with a Hindi gross collection of ₹32 crore 78 lakh. Expectations are high for a significant growth in Hindi collections starting from the ninth day.

Across all four languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada – Coolie recorded an India net collection of ₹218 crore 53 lakh in its first six days. On its seventh day, the film added ₹7 crore 19 lakh to its Indian box office total. Early reports for the eighth day suggest an India net collection of approximately ₹6.5 crore. This places Coolie‘s total eight-day All India net collection at ₹235 crore 22 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹282 crore 26 lakh. The film’s overseas performance has also been strong, accumulating an overseas gross collection of ₹168 crore 71 lakh to date. Combining these figures, Coolie‘s total eight-day worldwide collection stands at ₹450 crore 97 lakh, successfully surpassing the ₹450 crore mark globally in just eight days.
War 2 Box Office: Strong Second Week Start
The 2025 Bollywood film War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra, stars Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR alongside Kiara Advani. The film had an explosive opening at the box office.
