The historical action-drama film Mahavatar Narasimha, directed by Ashwin Kumar, was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada on July 25. The film’s initial 31 days saw an India Net Collection of ₹231 crore 75 lakh across all languages. On its 32nd day, Mahavatar Narasimha earned ₹1 crore 41 lakh at the Indian Box Office. Although the occupancy on day 33 was slightly less than the previous day, the film still garnered ₹1 crore 25 lakh at the Indian Box Office. This brings Mahavatar Narasimha’s initial 33-day All India Net Collection to ₹234 crore 41 lakh, with an India Gross Collection of ₹281 crore 29 lakh. The film also performed strongly overseas, achieving an Overseas Gross Collection of ₹26 crore 73 lakh. In total, Mahavatar Narasimha’s initial 33-day World Wide Collection stands at ₹308 crore 2 lakh, marking more than ten times its budget in worldwide earnings. The film is already a major blockbuster, and further growth in its collections is anticipated in the coming days.
Coolie Box Office: Approaching ₹500 Crore Worldwide
The action-thriller film Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Superstar Rajinikanth alongside Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Sathyaraj, Upendra, Sudeep, Shobana, and Shruti Haasan, was released worldwide on August 14 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. The film has completed 13 days in cinemas and has been well-received by both Hindi and South language audiences, resulting in strong earnings. Coolie is now nearing the ₹500 crore mark at the box office and is expected to maintain decent earnings for another week or so.
Coolie’s initial 11 days accumulated a Hindi Net Collection of ₹32 crore 5 lakh and a South Language Collection of ₹29 crore 13 lakh. This brought the film’s initial 11-day All Languages India Net Collection to ₹61 crore 18 lakh. On its 12th day, the film collected ₹3 crore 52 lakh from the Indian Box Office across all languages. For its 13th day, with a slight drop in occupancy compared to the previous day, Coolie is estimated to earn ₹3 crore 10 lakh in India Net across all languages. Consequently, Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie has achieved an initial 13-day India Net Collection of ₹67 crore 80 lakh, with an India Gross Collection of ₹321 crore 36 lakh. The film’s 13-day World Wide Box Office Collection has reached ₹496 crore 10 lakh, with expectations that it will enter the ₹500 crore club by tomorrow.
War 2 Box Office: Global Collections Soar
Ayan Mukerji’s action-thriller War 2, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR, along with Kiara Advani, Ashutosh Rana, and Anil Kapoor, was released on August 14. The film has also completed 13 days in cinemas, with its 13-day worldwide box office collection already exceeding ₹350 crore. War 2 was released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, with the Hindi market contributing the most to its earnings, followed by a decent performance from its Telugu version. The Tamil version, however, did not achieve significant collections. Despite facing negative attention, the film’s collections have been quite commendable.

This amounted to an initial 11-day All Languages India Net Collection of ₹235 crore 11 lakh. On its 12th day, the film earned ₹4 crore 86 lakh across all Indian markets. For its 13th day, with a further drop in morning show occupancy and a slight drop in afternoon, evening, and night show bookings, War 2 is projected to collect ₹4 crore 50 lakh in India Net. This brings War 2’s initial 13-day India Net Collection to ₹240 crore 47 lakh, with an India Gross Collection of ₹290 crore 18 lakh. The film’s total World Wide Box Office Collection for 13 days has reached ₹365 crore 34 lakh. With Ganesh Chaturthi being a holiday tomorrow, a slight growth in the film’s collections is anticipated.
Baaghi 4: Anticipated Box Office Performance
Bollywood’s action superstar Tiger Shroff is set to return as Ronnie in Baaghi 4, directed by A Harsha and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film also features Sanjay Dutt in a villainous role. Baaghi 4 is scheduled for release on September 5, with the trailer expected to be released on August 30. The movie is anticipated to make a spectacular start at the box office upon its release.
