Salman Khan’s film, Tiger 3, released on Diwali, has achieved historic box office earnings. The film, released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, has garnered record-breaking collections across all languages worldwide. Tiger 3’s first day worldwide gross collection stands at ₹85.50 crore.

Tiger 3 India Box Office: Day 1 Performance

On its first day, Tiger 3 recorded an all-India net collection of ₹45 crore, with an India gross collection of ₹53.50 crore. Despite releasing on Lakshmi Puja Day, which reportedly caused some minor impact on collections, the film saw housefull morning shows in many parts of the Hindi market. Tiger 3 also received a strong response in Tamil and Telugu languages.

Tiger 3 Overseas Box Office Earnings

Tiger 3 has performed exceptionally well in the overseas market, recording a gross collection of approximately ₹32 crore on its first day. The film was released in some overseas cities prior to its main release, where it received positive reviews, contributing to its strong international earnings.

Tiger 3 Pre-Release Recovery and Screen Count

The total budget for Tiger 3 is ₹300 crore. Before its theatrical release, the film achieved significant recovery from its rights sales. Digital rights were sold for ₹135 crore, satellite rights for ₹90 crore, and music rights for ₹30 crore. This accumulated to a pre-release recovery of ₹255 crore, meaning the film earned more than ₹50 crore before hitting cinemas.

Tiger 3 was released across 5500 screens in India, covering Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. Internationally, it was released on 3500 screens, bringing the total worldwide screen count to 9000.

Tiger Series Box Office Legacy: Past Performance

The Tiger series has a strong box office history. The first film, Ek Tha Tiger (2012), achieved the biggest opening of its year and was the highest-grossing film of the year in terms of lifetime collection, becoming an all-time blockbuster. Its sequel, Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), also had an historic opening at the box office and became the highest-grossing film of its release year.

Following its strong opening, Tiger 3 is projected for continued high performance. It is expected that the film could collect more than ₹100 crore in the worldwide market on its second day, which is a national holiday.
