Lio Box Office: Seven-Day Global Collection Report
Thalapathy Vijay’s film Lio has completed seven days in cinemas, achieving a record-breaking collection in the worldwide market across its five languages. The film’s earnings in seven days have surpassed what many Bollywood films achieve in an entire month. Released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, Lio secured the record for the biggest opening of 2023 with its first-day collections. Lio continued to make massive collections every day, performing excellently in every language, including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The action-packed film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, had a budget of ₹300 crore.
Lio Hindi Box Office Performance
The Hindi version of Lio collected ₹14 crore 30 lakh in its initial four-day weekend. On its fifth day, the Hindi collection stood at ₹1 crore 10 lakh. The sixth day saw a collection of ₹1 crore 50 lakh. On its seventh day, Lio is estimated to collect approximately ₹1 crore 50 lakh in Hindi net collections. This brings the total seven-day Hindi net collection for Thalapathy Vijay’s Lio to ₹17 crore 40 lakh, with a Hindi gross collection of ₹20 crore 70 lakh.
Lio All India Net and Gross Collections
Across all five languages, Lio recorded an All India net collection of ₹195 crore during its initial four-day weekend. The fifth day’s All India net collection was ₹35 crore 70 lakh. Collections were tremendous again on the sixth day, coinciding with Dussehra, as the film registered an All India net collection of ₹32 crore 10 lakh. On the seventh day, with holidays ending and working days beginning, Lio’s collections showed a 30-35% drop compared to the previous day. The estimated All India net collection for the seventh day is approximately ₹20 crore. Consequently, Lio’s total All India net collection for the first seven days stands at ₹282 crore 80 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹336 crore.
Lio Worldwide Box Office Totals and Milestones
Lio has accumulated ₹162 crore from overseas markets. Combining all collections, the film’s total worldwide gross collection for the initial seven days has reached ₹498 crore. Lio is poised to surpass the ₹500 crore mark in worldwide gross collection by tomorrow morning, marking it as Thalapathy Vijay’s first film to achieve ₹500 crore at the box office. The final collection for Lio is projected to exceed a minimum of ₹650 crore, with potential to reach ₹700-800 crore or even surprise with its lifetime collection.
